Breaking Benjamin singer pauses concert to get fans to download his Fallout 4

The frontman of Breaking Benjamin paused a concert just to urge the crowd to download his Fallout 4 mod and help him settle a beef with another modder.

The rock band known for hits like The Diary of Jane were playing a show in Holmdel, New Jersey, when singer and guitarist Benjamin Burnley used a break between songs to go on a four-minute-long rant about a mod he created.

As seen in the clip shared by 'im_all_ears' on Reddit, Burnley started by asking the audience if they were gamers and if they played Fallout 4 with mods, before announcing: "I am an amateur modder. I make mods for Skyrim and Fallout 4."

Despite half the crowd having no idea what he was talking about, he went on to explain that he had made a mod called "True First Person." The idea is to ensure that you can see your body and legs while in first-person, and you always stay in the perspective, even during interactions that would normally change it to third-person.

He then told the crowd exactly what they needed to do, saying: "I want you to go and download that f**king mod."

But why did Burnley feel the need to try and peddle his custom mod during a concert? Well, it turns out he's actually wrapped up in a beef with another modder in the community.

"There was a modder in the community that was really mean to me and bullying me, saying, 'Oh, your mod is s**t. You don't know what you're f**king doing,'" he continued. "So I'm doing this, announcing it every f**king night, and blowing his f**king downloads out of the water."

While all of this was going on, the details of the mod were displayed on the screens behind the band

"When you post a mod, you're supposed to be able to grow and learn and make it better," Burnley added. "And right off the bat, this f**king asshole was sh**ting on my mod. He didn't even let me update it."

This went on for around four minutes altogether and definitely created a divide in the room. As the speech continued, some fans started to boo and urged the singer to get back to the songs, while others carried on cheering until they finally resumed the show.
